Chia Cacao Oat Pudding with Strawberries


Perfect for breakfast high in antioxidants from cacao, berries, and chia seed. Chia seeds are packed with fiber, protein, antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, and various micronutrients like calcium and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Cacao is rich magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium and phosphorous. Oats are filled with manganese, copper,vitamin B1, zinc, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium and phosphorous.

Serve: 1 Person

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup                                    Chia Seeds
  • 3 Tbs                                     Oats
  • 2 Tbs                                     Cacao Powder
  • ½ cup                                    Coconut milk
  • ½ cup                                    Water
  • ½ cup                                    Strawberries (berries of choice)
  • 3 Tbs                                     Sunflower seeds to sprinkle over

Honey or any choice of sweetener to taste is optional.

Directions

  • In a jar or container add chia seeds, oats, and cacao powder mix, and add coconut milk and water to
    cover the dry ingredient.
  • Leave the jar in the refrigerator to soak overnight.
  • Serve the pudding in a bowl and feel free to add more water or milk of choice and sweetener to
    adjust the thickness of the pudding as you like. Top up with strawberries and sunflower seeds before
    serving.
